Crossing Continents
After I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and Lord, The Lord God Almighty put a great passion in me to reach millions of lost people and to build thousands of Churches in India. Very soon, by the grace and mercy of the Lord, I started to be actively involved in sharing the word of God, evangelism, family ministry, and missionary missions in Chennai, India. The Lord lead us to understand that HE will open a door in the USA for job and to do ministry. The Lord also confirmed through our pastor’s wife that He is taking to our family to USA for job and mainly, to do His ministry. By the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, we moved to Atlanta in 2006.
A Story of Indian Faith in Atlanta
We were introduced to a Tamil Christian family living in Atlanta. We invited the family that weekend to our apartment for prayer. That Sunday, we attended a nearby Baptist Church and joined membership. By the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, our Church pastor, Glenn Williams, opened the Church for our Tamil prayer fellowship meetings.
He gave us the Church key and encouraged us to reach Indians for Christ Jesus! By the grace of the Lord, we were able to meet regularly for prayer and systematic Bible Study in the Baptist Church and reach the lost for about 7 years.In mean time, the Lord God Almighty connected us with Vishwavani Indian mission to start Vishwavani International to raise prayer warriors throughout the USA.
By this time, many Indian communities started to settle in Alpharetta and Cumming area. We earnestly prayed that the Lord will open a door to have our Tamil prayer fellowship in that area. By the grace of the Lord, Pastor Steve, Lead pastor of Mount Pisgah opened the space for us to have prayer fellowship in the Johns Creek area to reach the Indian community. With prayer and great vision from the Lord, we changed the name from Tamil prayer fellowship to Indian prayer fellowship. Hallelujah!
The Lord God Almighty gave these promises for the prayer fellowship:
Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will show thee;And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing;And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
